To Launch our  Active Flag.  All classes did a penalty shoot out with their teacher in goals. Our Deputy Principal is in goals for the semi finals and our principal will be in goals for the final.

The boys and girls of St John’s National School welcomed Paige, Allison, Jack, Katie, Haley, Grace, Alexa, Amanda,  their teachers Jane and William, their parents and grandparents into our school on Tuesday. They dance and perform with Astudia Dance World.  We flew our Irish flag and and the American flag as a sign of welcome. They came all the way from Henderson, Nevada in the United States of America. Our Irish dancers danced for our visitors and our grupa cheoil played for them.  Then, they danced for us. We had great fun and we enjoyed our day with our visitors.

• Grace – “I truly loved when they did Alice in Wonderland”

• Jamie –  “I liked when Jack did the rap”
• Roisin – “I liked the dance moves”
• Aoife – “I liked the costumes especially the sparkly ones”
• Ronan – “I liked when they did the timber song”.
• Gian – ” I liked the Jai Ho song especially as it’s from Bollywood”

When you dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain place, it’s to enjoy each step of the way.

Fourth Class are very busy this morning with the own devices doing KHAN Academy Maths. The boys and girls in fourth class brought in their own devices to school today (BYOD) to do KHAN Academy maths.
